Selling word processor Sprint* with TurboĬ now you can write your own best seller That does it all nothing is halt done or not When I play TEW I'll usually adjust the focus of a company towards something you'd see in an old school territorial-style fed, which is something you'd probably hate OP.Full text of " BYTE 1988 fall 5 IBM special OCR"īattle of the Boards: Micro Channel vs. It presented itself more seriously, so it's hard for me to put myself in that chair and think of storylines and so on. They had gimmicks of course but those gimmicks were very simple, and the storylines were nothing like what you'd see today. That said I'll add that I'm more of a fan of the early 80's southern USA style brand of wrestling, the stuff Jim Cornette was and is about if you know who he is, before WWE took everything over. I don't see the long term enjoyment of storylines or gimmicks at all. You can't do what with WMMA and that's more interesting to me.

You know what the stats of your wrestlers are and you can plan out the year entirely in advance and pretty much just run it through if you like. I like TEW as well, but it is a different form of like. And it feels like the player on your team is doing those things, not you. You can sign whoever you want, but things might not go the way you expect them when the game kicks off. It's like OOTP Baseball or Football Manager. Each fighter kind of has that career story arc going that you get into, and it is better following that story when you know you can't directly control it. I like just the matching of talent, finding new talent in the darkest reaches of nowhere, and letting that talent possibly surprise me.
